Dear. God. Agust. D! Min Yoongi definitely put his soul into this work. Of course, it seems that’s something that he does anyway. Making music with purpose. I sense a lot of peace in this album. Perhaps not an overwhelming happiness. But while his self-titled debut explored his insecurities with each of his personae, “D2” owns and accepts the shortcomings, failures and successes (and all that comes with them), elevating himself to a higher consciousness of self. Such a well put-together album.
